Darcell Fleeman
Vocational Instructor & Summer Program Coordinator

Darcell joined BCI in 2020 as a Vocational Instructor and in 2021, assumed responsibility for coordinating our summer employment program for young adults. With a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Lindenwood University, she has a long history of diligently preparing people with disabilities for competitive employment. Previously, she worked for the Center for Specialized Services and the St. Charles School District. Darcell feels privileged to teach and cherishes the expressions of pride and accomplishment from her students and their families.

Phil McRaven
Transitional Employment Manager

It was our lucky day when Phil returned to BCI in 2021. Having worked as a Production Manager under our organizational employment program from 2016 to 2020, he became well-versed in leading adults with disabilities. Today, as Transitional Employment Manager, he will continue to support these men and women as they explore competitive work in the community. Phil has a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Bradley University.

Crystal Peterson
Vocational Instructor

Crystal joined BCI in 2007 as Regional Coordinator for Show Me Shine, a commercial cleaning subsidiary founded to create competitive jobs at a time when not many existed. In 2020, when Show Me Shine transitioned into the Skills Center’s Hospitality Housekeeping program, Crystal was perfectly suited to be the program’s first vocational instructor.

Adam Hinton
Teaching Assistant

Adam comes to BCI as one of the first graduates of the Skills Center. A leader in his Salesforce class, he passed his Administrator Certification test in July 2019. Adam chose to stay with the Skills Center in order to help lead others with disabilities to their new careers in information technology.
