Keep Supply Chains Moving
Warehouses and third-party logistics (or 3PL) distribution facilities are being built across the greater St. Louis area in response to major changes in how American households purchase goods. With thousands of jobs in the St. Louis region alone, this sector offers meaningful, high-demand roles for individuals ready to contribute to a growing industry.
BCI’s Warehouse Program equips students with practical skills and workplace habits that lead to lasting success. From preparing shipments to working with automation, graduates leave ready to step into warehouse packaging jobs with confidence.
Why Choose BCI’s Warehouse Program?
Our Warehouse Program is ideal for individuals who enjoy staying active, working as part of a team, and contributing to the growth and development of an essential industry.

Targeted Warehouse Training Programs
Our warehouse curriculum is built in partnership with logistics, fulfillment, and supply chain employers to meet expectations. It is carefully structured to support the unique needs of adults with disabilities through job training that promotes growth, independence, and long-term success in the workplace.

Hands-On Warehouse Job Training
Students gain experience in authentic warehouse settings, learning how to build boxes, pick and pack orders, load and unload shipments, assemble kits, and prepare items for delivery. Training may also include working with automation and robotics. Forklift instruction is also provided to support a broad range of warehouse roles.

Supported Warehouse Job Placements
BCI partners with inclusive employers across the region to help graduates find warehouse jobs near them that match their strengths and preferences. Many students move directly into roles with the same companies where they received their training, creating a smooth and supported transition into the workforce.
How The Warehouse Program Works
The BCI Skills Center is a vocational skills center dedicated to helping adults with disabilities gain independence through hands-on training and job assistance programs. Each step of the Warehouse Program is designed to prepare students to enter the workforce with the foundational skills necessary to pursue competitive employment opportunities.
Step 1: Assessment and Enrollment
Every student begins with a brief trial specific to their chosen vocational program to determine readiness. Our team provides feedback and supports re-entry if additional preparation is needed.
Step 2: Customized Curriculum
Training typically spans six to eight weeks and includes both technical warehouse tasks and essential soft skills like communication, time management, and teamwork.
Step 3: Real-World Application
Students apply their training at active warehouse sites, building job readiness in live environments that reflect daily work expectations.
Step 4: Program Completion And Job Placement
Graduates may move into full- or part-time warehouse packaging jobs, supported by BCI’s team of employment specialists and inclusive hiring partners.
