Derby After Dark – Gala & Auction

Since 2008, BCI has held an annual gala. Known today as Derby after Dark, this event combines all the fun of the Kentucky Derby with celebrating those who do great things to ensure opportunities for people with disabilities to achieve their full potential.
This year, Derby After Dark will be held on Saturday, May 6th at Ameristar Casino in St. Charles. Filled with the excitement of the Kentucky Derby race, live entertainment by Fix Newton, dinner, cocktails, and much more – this night is sure to be SPECTACULAR!
On this night, we will also be honoring Kathy Cummings as our Loving Hands award recipient, Cambridge Air Solutions as our Competitive Employment Partner of the Year, and Reckitt as our Customer of the Year.

Event timeline:
4:00 PM: Doors open – cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, the silent auction, and the Derby wager table will be open!
5:24 PM: Livestream of the Kentucky Derby race
5:30 PM: Opening remarks and award presentations
6:00 PM: Dinner, program, and the live auction
7:30 PM: Live entertainment and dancing – live music by Fix Newton
9:00 PM: End of event
