Inventory Tracking and Management

Effectively tracking and managing inventory is critical to running an efficient and cost effective business. This task can be complicated when using contract packagers. Recognizing this, BCI maintains our own internal procedures and BCI Inventory System to accurately identify and track our customers' inventory. The BCI Inventory System utilizes a bin location system which allows for easy and fast retrieval of all inventory stored in our warehouse.

Utilizing our 102,500 square foot facility, BCI protects your assets by utilizing pallet racking and designated storage lanes to ensure your product is stored and shipped in a manner consistent with your requests! BCI utilizes forklifts, pallet jacks, and slip sheet attachments to efficiently move your materials within the facility.

In compliance with our ISO system, BCI offers the following services at no additional cost to ensure accurate component and finished goods inventory levels:

• Maintains a Bill of Material for each job run.
• Verifies product part numbers and counts at receiving. Will notify customer of discrepancies or damaged material when received.
• Enters daily production counts and waste counts to automatically relieve components from inventory.
• Performs end of run cycle counts and makes necessary inventory adjustments.
• Investigates significant adjustments to determine cause.
• Performs daily finished goods counts to ensure accurate production, component inventory, and shipping records.
• Labels all components with part numbers and stores them in a manner to easily track and prevent damage to inventory.
• Maintains the bin location in the BCI Inventory System to allow for easy and fast retrieval of you inventory.

• Receiving Reports
• Production Reports
• Waste Reports
• Shipping Reports
