    BCI is seeking a volunteer to assist staff in helping our employees during their lunch break to warm their lunches in the microwaves use vending machines, and assistance to their seats.  No special skills are required for this position just the desire to interact with our outstanding workforce of adults with disabilities.  The rewards are priceless. 

    Time Commitment: 2 hours per day, 11:30 am - 1 pm; Mon - Friday.  If not available all days, will work with your schedule.

    Physical Requirements:  Must be mobile and able to stand, bend, and reach.

  • Position: Job Coach - Various Work Environments

    Description:



    Job Coach - Various Work Environments
    The Job Coach ensures the CES employee or client learns the jobs skills needed to maintain the employment they have chosen. The Job Coach is responsible for creating accessible solutions to training models, materials and supports needed by the CES employee or client to learn the job with a thorough understanding of universal design.   The Job Coach is to set a professional example and expectation through their actions, dress and understanding of the corporate culture of each employment site.  The Job Coach must act as an advocate on behalf of the CES employee or client that they work with. The Job coach must be able to work flexible hours to arrange shift coverage at the employment sites that employee or clients are working.

     

    Duties:

    §  Train employees or clients to efficiently perform job functions as set by each employment site

    §  Follow all policies and procedures established by each employment site

    §  Attend orientation for each employee or client to make sure assigned duties and protocols for the customer are discussed and goals set

    §  Identify performance goals and support needs with input from the customer and employee or client served, both immediate and long-term

    §  Create accessible solutions to training models, materials and supports needed by the employee or client served.

    §  Create and modify work environments as needed so that the employee or client can learn the tasks for the job.

    §  Assist employee or client in forming natural supports on the job

    §  Independently provide one-on-one teaching for employee or clients in accordance with their support plan and in learning the tasks of the job; fading out as directed by the learning plan.

    §  Maintain regular and positive communications with funders, families and other professionals.

    §  Act as a advocate for employee or clients supporting them in employment concerns

    §  Ensure that employee or client and the customer needs are met by visiting employee or client two times a month and speaking with the customer at least once a month or as directed by the plan.

    §  Complete all paperwork expected for the services delivered according to the guidelines set forth by the funding source

    §  Maintain a flexible schedule in order to work when the employee or client works.  May be day, evening, or weekend and holiday hours.

    §  Attends staff meetings, planning meetings, in-service training sessions and seminars as required.

    §  Other related duties as directed by management

  • Position: Business Analyst

    Description:



    We are currently seeking a Business Analyst to perform the duties required to manage the financial and client reporting for all programs of our Career Planning Center. 

     

    Position Responsibilities:

    Business and financial reporting for the CPC including:

    ·         Ensure all public support contracts documentation are complete and accurate

    ·         Update and maintain monthly forecast files

    ·         Prepare and input monthly journal entries

    ·         Analyze and report all variances to budget

    ·         Reconcile all general ledger accounts related to the CPC.

    ·         Complete client and employee transportation grants with St. Charles County DDRB

    ·         Assist with the preparation of the annual budget by providing cost and revenue projections

    ·         Support the Director of Employment Services, Director of Finance and Administration and Human Resource Manager as needed

     

    Responsible for establishing and maintaining all payroll records for the CPC clients in the payroll system (ADP).

    ·         Ensure all timecard accuracy in accordance policy, procedure and time worked

    ·         Ensure accuracy of client department codes and pay grids for proper payroll processing

    ·         Process background checks, I-9’s and other documents as required

    ·         Reconcile client payroll records to public support contracts on a monthly basis. 

    ·         Maintain vacation, holiday and paid time off schedules for all employees

    ·         Report all personnel changes to human resource department affecting employment status, benefit changes and regulatory compliance

     

    Responsible for daily business operations including:

    ·         Oversee the administrative function of the CPC office

    ·         Establish and maintain a client and employee served scorecard

    ·         Review all business contracts and quotes to for completeness and accuracy.

    ·         Monitor revenue earned and expenses incurred to assist with establishing proper contract revenue for new contracts

    ·         Serve as a liaison between the CPC Program personnel and new sales accounts

    ·         Serve on the Strategic IT committee as the CPC representative

  • Position: Employee Assistant

    Description:



    The Employee Assistant at BCI assists each employee with patient direction and encouragement while at breaks and lunch.  This person acts as an advocate for the employee/clients and maintains the break room in a clean, safe and orderly fashion. 

    Duties:

    ·         Assist employee/clients with snack machines, microwaves, seat assignments etc.   

    ·         Insure employee/client behaviors are appropriate through positive reinforcement and/or intervention when necessary.   Intervene and problem solve when necessary.

    ·         Effectively communicate with department team members regarding behaviors, issues and concerns.  Document incidents as required.

    ·         Monitor and assist employees waiting in break room during work hours.

    ·         Assist with daily check/in/ check out procedure.

    ·         Maintain employee & staff break room in a clean, safe and orderly fashion –i.e. clean spills, clean refrigerators & microwaves, countertops & cabinet fronts; wipe tables, clean vending machine fronts; empty & recycle soda cans.

    ·         Routinely clean inside of employee lockers.

    ·         Place coffee product orders as scheduled.

    ·         Spot check & fill toilet paper in employee restrooms if needed.

    ·         Monitor cleaning chemicals, in use and in storage.

    ·         Maintain seasonal décor in break room.

    ·         Assist with department clerical duties as time permits.

    ·         Attend staff meetings, in-service training sessions & seminars as required,

    ·         Demonstrate good judgment in handling sensitive/confidential information,
